State By State Comparisons of Rural Family Practice

Robert C. Bowman, M.D.

Rural and Urban Comparison of all FP graduates as of 2003 - Table dividing each state into urban/urban focused, large rural, medium rural, and isolated rural locations. Useful when interpreting workforce studies as states with more rural areas usually graduate more rural family physicians. Increases in graduates for isolated and medium rurals are an important outcome of any rural medical education intervention.
