Minifellowship updates Minifellows receive faculty development, continuing education, and career assistance. 1990 – 1995 with up to 5 minifellows per year, continuing education to the graduates and others since this time, over 200 contacts. Graduates of the minifellowship have won educator of the year awards, have developed several rural programs, have set up rural centers with grants totaling millions each year, and are chairs of rural health in academic centers.
